To prevent discomfort (and potential back problems) while working standing up, it’s really important to make sure your postures are ergonomically correct.
Here are the tips on how to stand properly while working on your standing desks.
Step 1: Raise your sit stand workstation to a comfortable height, making sure that your elbows are bent between 90° and 120°
Step 2: Make sure the top of the monitor is at or just below eye level
If your screen is not high enough, compare your standing desk with a monitor mount
Step 3: Wrists and hands are straight in-line and roughly parallel the floor
Step 4: Alternate between sitting and standing throughout the work day to help keep your body healthy and your mind alert.
